STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION'S CPO SI INTERVIEW 2015 COMPLETE GUIDANCE AND BIO DATA FILLING

First
of all I would like to congratulate all the candidates who have successfully
cleared the PRELIMS, PET/PST and MAINS examination conducted by staff selection commission. As the
interview schedule has already been posted on the official website of SSC. So
all the candidates should prepare as much relevant content as they can. But
before you revise all your syllabus and unnecessary content, let me clear what
interviewers are supposed to ask you.
As
a lot of people might already have told you that interview is all about testing your personality not knowledge,
they are absolutely right. I have seen number of people who lack knowledge but
they succeeded getting very good score in interviews just because of their confidence, good communication skill and dressing sense. As far as the CPO SI
interview is concerned all the candidates should download the Bio data from the
official website of SSC and to be filled by the candidates in very fare
writing. All the candidates should insure that they have filled all the details
clearly without any mistake and over writing. the very first thing that is
going to be screened by the interviewers is your Bio data and as you all know first
impression is the last impression.
Specifically
this interview is more concerned about filling the Bio data form because most
of the questions are going to be asked from what you have filled in Bio data.
Be honest and stick 100% to all the information you have filled.
Composition of
interview board
Generally
it consists of a panel of four or five members.
1. Board
head : (the most senior person of the board)
2. Subject
head : (science/technical/engineering)
3. Psychologist
4. Departmental
head :(Generally working or retired commandant ranked personnel of CAPFs )
5.
General
knowledge/current affairs
Board Head:
Generally
board head (sitting in the middle of semi circular arc) is the most senior
person of the board and he may be retired civil services personnel blessed with
a great knowledge of human recourse management He may initiate the interview by
taking your introduction and may ask about your family background and few more
questions related to your life.
Subject head
Once
the board head has asked you about your qualification and your stream (science
/ art) the subject expert will ask you about your subject in which you had done
your graduation.
Psychologist
Generally
psychologist doesn’t ask any question he just notices you all the time, your
activities, postures and every gesture is noticed by the psychologist. You may
find it funny if I say he has got the power
to detect your truths and lie.
Or
few psychologist are habitual of recording your reaction by giving you a
situation doing this they will check your decision making power, intellectuality,
thinking and your ability to solve a problem.
Departmental
head
Generally
the department personnel is from one of the paramilitary forces he may be of a
commandant rank or any Gazetted officer. During interview if he finds you
interested in the paramilitary forces he may ask you some questions like why do
you want to join paramilitary forces ?,how can you your knowledge in
paramilitary forces?, and some more questions related to the department that
doesn’t require any special study.
General
knowledge/current affairs
One
person will be sitting there to check your exposure to society and knowledge of
current affairs. if you have written sports or game as your hobby , he may ask
you questions relate to them.
How to fill the bio data form:
As
the bio data form is main thing and if you fill it properly the probability of
getting good score will definitely increase. All the candidates should fill,
check and prepare everything they have written in bio data form in advance
before appearing in the interview.
it
is up to the candidates desire what medium of language they use to fill the
entries in the bio data form .they
can fill it in Hindi or English language. But if you have a good
command over speaking and writing English language then a little effort of
yours will lead you to very good score in interview.

17. What have you been doing since you
completed your studies?
Ans : after
completing my engineering i got the first job of my career as a production
engineer at xyz industries Haryana. I worked there 6 months and after obtaining
an experience of 6 months i switched my job and joined ABC Company as a telecom
engineer. i worked there for next six
months. after i had successfully cleared CPO SI 2014 prelims, I resigned from
ABC company and started preparing for mains and physical test.
18. Any other
relevant information the candidate would like to state?
Ans : I have a great dream to become the best
commando of my country and to serve my nation with full dedication and honesty.
I want to face the real challenge working as a commando and I want to
participate in anti terrorist and anti naxal operations frequently. once I have
made myself strong enough I will try for civil services and contribute at
improving the administration.

One of the board member: yes ! please come in .
Abhay: Good morning sirs (with an expression of smile on his face and walks up to round
chairs and he stood their )
Board head (man sitting in the mid of the semi circular arc): please sit down .
Abhay: thank you sir (he puts his documents on the table in
front of him and sits comfortably in a good sitting posture)
Board head: (starts
reading his bio data as he already had one of its copies ): Mr. Abhay Singh
you are from faizabad, completed B.tech in mechanical engineering in 2013 and asks .. Abhay please tell me something about faizabad,
what places would you like me to visit if I come faizabad ?
Abhay: sir, faizabad is one of the districts of the state
Uttar Pradesh approx. 120 km from its capital lucknow. its population is approx
(he figures it out ) as per 2011 census. If you visit faizabad I would like you
to visit Ayodhya, one of the place in faizabad districts with a historical
importance for Hindu religion and Indian culture, its also known as place of
birth of lord Rama. It is situated on
the bank of river saryu .he describes history of how it was named faizabad and
about last mughal emperor and then says i would also like you to visit the
monument of Ashfaq Ullah Khan.
Board head: Tell
me something about your family background ?
Abhay: sir,I have total 5 members in my family ,my father,
mother, two elder brothers and me. my father is retired Uttar Pradesh police
officer ,my mother is a house wife, both of my elder brothers are currently
serving as an officer ,in COBRA (A
commando unit of CRPF).
Board head : ohh
! it means you are from a family of warrior’s ?(with a smile on his face)
Abhay: yes sir, it is my pleasure to be a member of such a family.
Board head :
what are your hobbies ?
Abhay: playing

Subject head: what is strain and is its unit ?
Abhay : he defines it correctly, and says it has no unit, it
is a constant value.
Subject head :
what is young modulus of elasticity ?
Abhay: he defines it correctly.
Subject head:
when does young modulus of elasticity become unity.
Abhay: when longitudinal stress becomes equal to
longitudinal strain, young’s modulus of elasticity becomes unity,.
Subject head : what
do you know about IC engines. how many types of IC engines are there.?
Abhay: he
answers correctly
Subject head:
what is the unit of viscosity?
Abhay : (he didn’t know the unit of viscosity orally but he knew it how to derive it) he asks the
interviewer for a paper and pen that was already there on the table “sir,may I
use this paper and pen ?”
Subject head :
yes ! off course you can use it.
Abhay : thank you sir (he derives the unit from the formula
of viscosity and finally he gives the
right answer)
Subject head:
Abhay, you have written teaching mathematics as your hobby so up to what
standard you teach mathematics.
Abhay: sir,I always used to give tuitions to my juniors .I
have been doing this since I was in 10th standard and I
continued giving tuitions during intermediate and during my engineering also.
Subject head :
have you ever participated in mathematics Olympiad ?
Abhay : sir, actually i did my schooling from a rural area
so I didn’t know anything about Olympiad
.but now I am well familiar of it and I guide my students regarding this, few
of them participated and got good ranks in it.
In this session he didn’t stop or felt any kind
of hesitation.so subject head was very
impressed

Department head : Abhay ,you have done B.tech in
mechanical engineering ,how will you utilize your engineering knowledge in
police or paramilitary.
Abhay : sir,
I think it is an era of technology where all the security forces need to be
more advance
than the criminals .i have
done engineering and I have a great knowledge of information technology
and
machineries. If I get selected for paramilitary forces then I will have better
understanding of
technical things like Improvable explosive devices, sensors
and GPS etc. my trainability factor will
be more(I can be easily trained for
any kind of technical as well as non technical course).sir I think
the
intelligence system of our security forces is a bit weak and I can contribute
my level best at
improving the intelligence and technical network of
paramilitary forces.
Department head : Abhay I don’t agree with your
point ,I think we already have a very strong intelligent and technical system
being run by very intelligent and technical people.
Abhay : sir
I think you are talking about the
same intelligent and technical system that caused the
biggest massacre at
dantewada ,Chhattisgarh resulting deaths
of 76 crpf personnel.
Department
head : Abhay ,you have left two jobs in just 1 year how can you assure me that you
are not going to leave this job also .
Abhay : sir
I left my previous jobs because I was unstable. I was offered a great salary
package
,good working condition and Air conditioned chamber but I didn’t like
that job profile .every night I
find
myself in the dreams where I am wearing
a soldier’s uniform, participating in the anti terrorist
operation and fighting
for my nation .this dream don’t let me sleep. this is a clear indication that
my
dream and my life exists in force I can’t make myself stabilized without
joining a security force.

Abhay : he answers it correctly

Abhay : he answers it correctly
Board member :
total how many seats have been won by the AAP in Delhi assembly elections ?
Abhay : he answers it correctly.
Then the board head says ok Abhay it was a really
nice session with you ,you have an excellent goal go and live your life like a warrior of the nation.
Abhay : thank you very much sir (with a smile on his
face ,he stands up and walk toward the door )
Psychologist
didn’t ask any question to Abhay but he kept noticing his each and every
posture, gesture and the way he used to speak just to check his confidence. But
few psychologists may ask situation reaction based question to check your
decision power.
